What is Microcement?
Microcement is a decorative coating made of cement, water-based resins, additives, and mineral pigments.
It is quickly growing in demand across the UK because it’s aesthetically great looking, a great substitute for other traditional surface finishes like tiles or paints & it’s performance as a finished product is unmatached.
Microcement is an exceptionally versatile material that can be used for both interior and exterior surfaces to create a unique, custom and seamless finish.
The Material We Use
We use some of the strongest concrete resins available which has been specifically manufactured for application on many different substrates. Boasting impermeable and extremely hardwearing qualities while most importantly being flexible enough for use with underfloor heating systems.
Microcement is typically installed to a maximum thickness of 3mm and can be applied onto almost any substrate surface including outdated tiles. The finished install is similar in appearance to a full concrete pour, without the heavy install and need for the large amount of depth. Microcement can be used on floors, walls, media walls, stairs, wet rooms, bathrooms, and even swimming pools!!
